Jewelry making began for me during the pandemic in 2020, when I started creating pieces just for myself and learning techniques through online videos. One day, someone said that something I made looked just as professional as something that they would see in a store. This is when I realized this could be more than a hobby, it could be a way to do what I love while earning an income. By 2024, my passion evolved as I became more aware of how the mass-produced, fast fashion industry impacts both people and the planet. Even though my pieces were handmade, that didn't make it ethical. Between child labor in sweatshops, to the Pacific Garbage Patch, I didn't want my jewelry brand to contribute to any unethical practices, so sourcing materials responsibly became essential. 

   Now, I exclusively upcycle second-hand jewelry and collect natural materials like pearls, shells, sea glass myself, to make every piece. This has shaped my brand into an ethically driven, ocean-inspired jewelry brand. By each purchase, you are not only slowing down the effects of mass production, but each and every bead on your special piece, has its own story and origin.
